Rocking Horse Farm was established in 1991 by designer Claudia Oltmanns. We purchased the business in 1998.

Most of our patterns are printed on blue print paper and are hand drafted. Once they have been revised we will switch them to the computer and they will be mechanically printed. Since purchasing the business we have been revising each pattern and correcting them as needed. This includes checking to see if the pattern pieces fit together correctly, the instructions work and that the pattern follows historic lines. This is a lengthy process that includes viewing original garments, patterns, paintings and books.

Customer information is not sold or given to anyone. We only use it if there is a question on your order.
